Raysut Cement Company is pleased to announce the recruitment of a Head of Mining Investment Department to join its dynamic team and contribute to the development and growth of investment opportunities in the mining sector.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop effective strategies and plans to attract and enhance investments in the mining sector.
• Study and evaluate new investment opportunities in mines, quarries, and mineral projects.
• Monitor the implementation of investment projects and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Prepare economic and technical feasibility studies and analyze project returns and associated risks.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with local and international investors and negotiate investment partnerships.
• Analyze markets and risks, providing recommendations to maximize returns and minimize risks.
• Lead and develop the team, fostering a culture of performance and innovation.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mining sector with value-added enhancement, including 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of mining laws and regulations in the Sultanate of Oman.
• Excellent skills in financial analysis, project management, and negotiation.
• Proficiency in relevant geological and economic software tools.
